Conditions of Employment

In order to ensure and maintain a safe, secure working and learning environment, new applicants who are offered employment must provide the following:

  • A clear, current Police or RCMP Information Check
    • Vulnerable sectors must be included for those in positions of trust or authority over children or vulnerable persons.
  •  A clear, current Intervention Record Check
    •  For individuals working with children and youth.
  • Photo identification
    • This may include a driver's licence, passport, Nexus card or other valid ID issued by a government registry office.
  • Your Social Insurance Card (or a social insurance confirmation letter from Service Canada)
    • Please note this must be in the employee's legal name and must match the photo identification provided.

As this information can take some time to obtain (up to 6 weeks or longer), we highly recommend applying for them as soon as possible. Please contact us if you have questions or require further information.
